There are TONS of places you can search for homes online these days, so how do you know where to begin? Who to trust? Which site will give you the most accurate info??
Of course, we'd love for you to begin your search on our View Georgia Homes site, but not just because it is our site. No. Actually it is because we know exactly where the data on our site comes from... the actual MLS. It is the most accurate, up to date data available to the consumer. This is why we created the site!
Unfortunately, unless you are searching a well-maintained site, the data you are looking at may not be the most accurate. Many times we get phone calls from buyers wanting to see a property they found on Zillow, only to find out when we look it up in the MLS it has already sold. Has this happened to you? Now granted, houses go fast these days! However, the MLS requires agents to update their listings quickly after a closing, and we've seen houses shown as still available on Zillow for weeks after they show closed on the MLS. But I won't go into that again since I already vented about my love/hate relationship with Zillow before.
